My first (successful) cake.

My daughter, the “nature princess”, as she calls herself, turned 5. I wanted a woodland themed cake and for some reasons all her cakes end up being chocolate.

Freshly ground soft white berries were made into this delicious cake recipe.

It was touted as being the best chocolate cake recipe and because it was for kids, I liked the fact it didn’t use coffee.

I used coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. Sucanat sweetener instead of white sugar.

The cake was a hit with both kids and adults.
