When we have pizza in the house, we make a section just for our daughter. Pepperoni is a little too spicy for her. Perhaps one day I can make a gorgeous photo of a complete pepperoni pizza. Until then, I can share a recipe anyway.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups warm water (~110F)
2 teaspoons sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
4 cups hard white wheat
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in your mixing bowl and I let it proof for 5 minutes.
- Grind your wheat berries into flour. I add garlic powder and dried Italian seasoning with extra dried Oregano to the flour to add extra flavor to the crust.
- Add flour, olive oil, salt and knead for 5 minutes.
- I let the dough sit and rise for an hour until I am ready to roll out the pizza dough.
- Roll, pat, and stretch the dough or divide into smaller doughs for smaller pizzas until 1/4″ thick.
- I brush my entire dough with a garlic infused olive oil and poke a few fork holes into the bottom.
- Cover dough with your sauce of choice and add toppings.
I bake the pizza at 450F for about 15 minutes.
